Here is a summer reading update from the Texas State Library. Dear All, The Texas State Library is pleased to announce that the clip art and theme song for the 2005 Texas Reading Club are now available online. The theme for the 2005 Texas Reading Club is "Go Wild...Read!" Michael Austin, illustrator of The Horned Toad Prince by Jackie M. Hopkins, created the artwork. Lucas Miller, the Singing Zoologist, wrote an original theme song to promote the 2005 Texas Reading Club . You will find the clip art and a sound file and lyrics for the theme song at www.tsl.state.tx.us/ld/projects/trc/2005/index.html. Statements of the Acceptable Use of the Clip Art and the Appropriate Use of the Theme Song are included on the web site, along with Instructions for Downloading and Printing the clip art. You may download both the song and the clip art onto your library's web site. If you have not yet placed your order for materials for the 2005 Texas Reading Club, please do so as soon as possible.
