Accidental Fundraiser is a free seminar for individuals newly appointed
with fundraising duties, not for the seasoned fundraising professional. Before
you begin your journey into raising funds for your program or organization,
make sure you know the way. Take some time to understand the reason for the
voyage, how to get there (grant writing, special events and sponsorship,

Community-Based and Nonprofit Organizations No Cost, (lunch on your own) at ACC Highland Business Center Your trek will begin with a three-hour overview session presented by
Marion T. Lee of Bacon Lee & Associates, a San Antonio-based consulting
firm advising nonprofit organizations in fund development, board training and
long-range planning. Ms. Lee will
explain the development process, help you identify your fellow travelers and
discuss how fundraising supports the organization’s other activities. Following the overview, two
more in-depth sessions on different topics will help you chart your chosen
