asking that you hold off on filing Form 471.

I talked with George a bit earlier.  To clarify, the FSCS data entry format is:

 

2 characters:    state code

4 characters:  library system code

3 characters:  library branch code (also includes bookmobiles, etc.)

 

SLD will try and prepopulate the FSCS# but libraries should correct any possible errors.  New libraries or regional library consortia that do not have an FSCS number can bypass this and leave it blank.

 

This will hopefully be fixed later today.  As posted earlier today, libraries may want to wait until this is all resolved.   I will post out an update when I hear back from George.
