Subject: [UNIVSERV:1397] Fix Made on the Form 471 and FSCS Issue

FYI:

George McDonald said that they have fixed the library FSCS number entry issue on the 471.  Again, to clarify:

2 characters:  state code

4 characters:  library system code

3 characters:  library branch or location code (includes central library, bookmobiles, etc.)

FSCS codes can be obtained from http://nces.ed.gov/surveys/libraries/librarysearch/.  Library consortia or new facilities that do not have FSCS codes should be able to bypass entry of the code.

Let me know if you or your member libraries report any problems with this.
