Hi, You may or may not remember, but at the beginning of January, I recruited vigorously for volunteers to set up, decorate, and take tickets at the Children's Round Table Breakfast at the annual Texas Library Association Conference in Austin on the morning of April 8th (the last day of the conference). I am still looking for several more volunteers to complete my roster (5-10)! If you're still thinking about helping me, let me remind you that the very early start time (around 6 AM) means you will probably get great parking on the closing day and be that much closer to the conference center when the vendors start putting their wares on sale! Remember, you're not only helping me, but also your library association and colleagues. It's also a really good way to start getting involved in TLA. I await the response from you that includes your name, institutional affiliation, email address, and phone number. If you know someone else who may be interested in helping, please pass this message along to them. Thanks, Kerry Rake CRT Meals Committee Note: If you are a volunteer at the CRT Breakfast and are strictly helping to set up, decorate, and take tickets, you do not need to register for the conference; however, if you intend to attend the breakfast, you do have to register for the conference and purchase a ticket for the breakfast. There are a limited number of chairs in the ballroom for attendees who want to hear the presentation, but not eat the meal---you do not have to buy a ticket but you do have to register for the conference.
