Hi,

Here I am again, asking one more time for five to ten more volunteers to
help set up, decorate, and take tickets for the Children's Round Table (CRT)
Breakfast at the TLA Conference. You'd really be helping me out if you
agreed to volunteer and I'd probably appreciate you for a very, very long
time. I'm being serious now---I really need more volunteers.

The CRT Breakfast is at 8:00 AM on Friday, April 8, 2005 at the Hilton
Austin, which is located at 500 E. 4th Street. This is roughly across the
street from the convention center. I do not know the exact room at this
time, but I will let you know when I have that information.

Volunteers need to arrive at the Hilton Austin at 6:15 AM on the morning of
the breakfast. If you agree to volunteer, you need to stay until after the
start of the breakfast (approximately 8:30-8:45 AM), although it is likely
that most of you will be able to leave earlier than that.

As a reminder, if you are not planning to attend the breakfast, you do not
have to register for the conference. If you do plan to attend (i.e. eat the
meal), you must register for the conference and have purchased a ticket for
the breakfast. There will be a limited number of chairs in the room for
those registered for the conference that want to hear the presentation but
not eat the meal.

Parking at the Hilton is $12 per day, so you might consider finding
elsewhere to park. The convention center has a parking facility at 4th and
Red River, which is just across from the Hilton. It is $7 per day, but I am
told you can enter and exit three times with this fee. There are also
parking meters, depending on where you go, with city meters having a
two-hour limit and state meters having a three-hour limit.

Again, I am seriously asking for your assistance and I hope to hear from you
soon.

Thanks,

Kerry Rake
