The Texas State Library and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation are
sponsoring two new  FREE training series on troubleshooting basic problems
with public and staff computers.

FIRST AID FOR AILING COMPUTERS will focus on "first aid" for basic computer
problems. EMERGENCY RESPONSE FOR NETWORK DISORDERS will help participants
deal with simple network problems.

These full-day classes are primarily for front-line public library staff who
must cope with issues like frozen computers, non-printing printers, and loss
of Internet connection. 

These courses are being scheduled and taught by Systran, Inc. This company
has provided high tech training to information and education professionals
in Texas and around the world for more than 25 years.
