Come to the June 14th workshop -- E-Rate: The Basics, Pt. II -- and see just
how SIMPLE the filing process for E-Rate can be!

When you attend this workshop, you will receive a workshop packet chock full
of information that will guide you through the filing process in laymen's
terms .. and as simply as possible.

 Pre-registration is recommended. Go to
http://www.tsl.state.tx.us/ld/workshops/er82/ to choose your location and
register.

Below you will find more details, but with budgets get tighter and tighter,
E-Rate is a pretty good way to save some funds -- for more books and
enhanced services!

The average discount in Texas is 70% or higher. (I haven't actually
calculated it this year!) Even if your phone bill was only $50 per month, a
70% discount would mean a savings of $420 over the course of the year.
That's just your phone bill .. and that's if it's only $50 per month! Just
imagine the possibilities when you consider cell phones, ISDN, T-1, DSL ..
and more!

Everything I listed above is a Telecommunications Services and therefore,
NO CIPA compliance is necessary!

This particular workshop will focus on the last two forms -- the 486 and
the BEAR (Form 472). The workshop I did in the Fall focused on the first
half of the E-Rate filing process (Forms 470 and 471). If you want to view
that first workshop, you can request the video from Anne Ramos at
[EMAIL PROTECTED] I also plan to have another workshop in the fall to
cover the changes with the Forms 470 and 471).

Go to http://www.tsl.state.tx.us/ld/workshops/er82/ to see more information
or see below:

This 2-hour workshop will focus on the second half of the E-Rate filing
