Subject: Re: Carpet tiles - Originally from Peg Fleet

we have them in the total library at Wells branch and they are great. we actually got ones with recycled content which limited the color selections and paterns but found some we liked. They come in several sizes, are quite easy to apply and replace apparently. we did order extra for replacements. Our highest traffic area is wood though.

Hello, again,

I'm back with another question.

I've been asked to look at the possibility of using carpet tiles, or squares, rather than roll carpet, for our library's meeting room.  The room is a high traffic area and is used for multiple purposes, children's programs, community meetings, etc.

I would like to hear from anyone who has experience, positive or negative, with this type of floor cover.  Since part of the purpose of using the tiles is to be able to replace them, I'm also curious to know what might be a good percentage of overage to order as replacements.

Thank you.
