The Texas State Library and the Thomson Gale Company will offer free
training on several reference databases in the TexShare suite on THURSDAY,
AUGUST 25, at the University of Texas at Austin. Sessions will be 9-11am and
1-3pm.
Training will cover reference skills for four databases:
Literature Resource Center
Health & Wellness Resource Center
Student Resource Center Gold
Custom Newspapers (Infotrac)
Participants will learn practical tips for better searching each resource,
as well as the new PowerSearch feature that allows users to scan multiple
databases.
