Colleagues--
The next YouthShare
is Monday, October 17 in Round Rock. I've mailed out the flyers but
if you need another one please let me know. To get things rolling we'll
discuss the following:
1.
Collaborating with city and
community groups/events
2. Making your
library welcoming to teens and preteens
3. Favorite
performers
4.
Thanksgiving program ideas
5.
Flannelgraphs
6.
Puppet scripts
7. Any
other programming ideas you may have
We have lots of
resources here in the office--reference books and videos plus what we call our
"TA" or teaching assistance files. I'll be bringing LOTS and LOTS of these
for you to borrow while at the workshop. I'll also bring the
Ellison die cut machine. Bring your own paper, felt or
fabric. Everyone gets a picture book from the collection
Amanda amassed while she was on the Caldecott
committee.
