Subject: Videoconferencing Directory for educators / librarians

System staff,

If any of your member libraries have videoconferencing capability, can you
please ask them if they would consider adding their library to the SBC
Videoconferencing for Learning directory:
http://www.kn.pacbell.com/wired/vidconf/directory.cfm ?

The directory is "a free, searchable database of videoconferencing sites of
interest to K-12 school, community college, and public library communities."

I considered building a Texas directory of public library videoconferencing
sites but this directory can serve that purpose and then some.

Please encourage Texas public libraries with VC capability to list
themselves here, so that we might have a better idea of the availability of
the technology among public libraries in our state.

Let me know if you have questions or concerns.

Thank you very much,
Naomi
