Texas Book Festival Library Grants Deadline: January 27, 2006 The Texas Book Festival is offering three grants this year in order to accomplish three distinct goals: initiate or continue literacy programs, install new technology, and buy more books. The Literacy Initiative Grants will fund programs that support the public library role for community reading and learning. The 21st Century Literacy Technology Grants are intended to assist with the purchase of technology related services or products. And the old favorite, the Book Funding grant helps libraries add books to their collections. Be sure to read the guidelines completely. A library may apply for more than one grant.
