One of our libraries is building their first new building in 60-something years and wants to have a wall of recognition for donors.

They need your ideas.

 

What have you used for a donor wall? Engraved plaques (and if so, where besides Austin did you get them done? A source in Waco would be helpful.)

 

What categories have you designated? Example: if you use a tree motif, small donors up to $X were “leaves,” larger donors from $X to $XO were “twigs,” donors of $XOO were “branches,” etc.

 

Someone showed me their donor wall & said their high school shop class made it. Which library? Was it engraved plaques or something carved in wood with names highlighted by staining?
