Hi Judy and Theresa, After chatting with my determinedly good-hearted friend Laurie Mahaffey, I'll go public with an offer that might possibly be of interest to you (and other librarians in our clan). This year we have a young man serving as a VISTA volunteer who is literally a national expert on blogging. (He is helping us install and configure some new Content Management database software systems on our ops center.) Nick Lewis has agreed to help interested librarians design library blog models. We can also host some or direct people to other free blog hosting services. If this would be of value to anybody, just let Laurie or me know. best, gene crick Disclaimer: Just for the record, we're lucky Nick is in our organization. Until recently I personally thought "blogging" was a form of Tennessee folk dancing and even now spend about as much time blogging as I spend in a Britney Spears chatroom. But Nick is current on all this and quite patient in teaching me, other than an occasional wiseacre request for me to tell him again about my boyhood friendship with Sam Houston. Sigh... young people today just don't respect their elders. <grin> Gene Crick, executive director TeleCommunity Resource Center Metropolitan Austin Interactive Network FCC: Consumer Advisory Committee; Chairman, Rural/Underserved Populations Working Group [EMAIL PROTECTED] 512-919-7590
