coming to Amarillo Public Library (May 11-12) and Fort Stockton Public
Library (May 22-23) this month. The training topic is "basic library
management" and a few seats are still available at each location. 

Small Library Management Training is open to any public library employee who
does not possess a master's degree in Library Science, and who is working in
a library serving less than 25,000 people.

The Texas State Library is pleased to announce the Spring 2006 schedule for
Small Library Management Training. 

Doctor Julie Todaro will be speaking on basic library management. Topics
will include basic policies & procedures, key management documents, legal
issues (HR, copyright, confidentiality), communication tips for working with
groups and individuals, planning, and more.
