We've had them in our library for about 4 years or so. Training is important, however. We're probably due for an update in training as well. Dale -------------------------------------------- Dale L. These are not cheap from the research I've done (atleast 2k), but might make a worthwhile grant proposal if your city/county does not have plans to install them in the future. Those installed at the State Library are wall mounted and from a company called Cardiac Science. Might be worth looking into. Here's a website that compares some of the major AED's for public use: http://www.aed.com/products/ Thanks, Dawn Dawn Vogler Library Management Consultant Texas State Library & Archives Commission PO Box 12927 Austin, TX 78711-2927 (512) 936-4449 phone (512) 463-8800 fax _______________________________________________ slm mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://lists.tsl.state.tx.us/mailman/listinfo/slm
