Maize Howdy all, At the Fairfield Library we have a check out policy that only limits the patron for the first month if they are a new user. One book or book on Tape for the first month per person but they can come in everyday, hour ect. and check out another. Although we do have exceptions if the patron is only getting a library card so their child can get books, that is it is just one book per child, as often as they like for the first month just like the adults. Otherwise their isn't really any limitation. We tell them it is as many as you want to be responsible for. We don't allow video's or DVD's on a new card for the first month. but it is a limit of 2 for videos per household is limited to the adults cards only. We also have the Movie licenses from Movie licenses USA. I haven't gotten to show many this year but our TV went Kaput!. we have had an ok turnout when we do. We will limit the check out on books that are being used for reports or anything like that if the teachers come to us first and let us know. Linda
