Hi, Laurie, we tried the skins but did not have any success with them. We
either wash the CDs with soap and water or if it is scratched we use a
little machine that takes off a layer of the CD. We try to prevent the
scratches by waxing the discs when they arrive for processing. Sharon Parker
(who works for one of the audio vendors) told me that's how they fixed
scratches. Its just car wax but it puts a layer of protection on the disc.

How do you clean your CDs? On the net, one source says no alcohol another
says use alcohol.

Do you use cd skins to protect your audio book CDs?

One of our members is dealing with scratches & is looking for answers.

Thanks.

Laurie
