We also have a problem with more kids than computers.  But something that
helped us was for us to take older computers and turn them into game
computers, not connected to Internet.  You don't need much in the way of
hardware if you keep the games simple.  I purchased a variety of games, both
on line and from retail outlets.  That made a big difference to us.

This is an issue for our library, too.  We have only 4 computers for the
public.  This summer we've had an influx of children wanting to play games
on the computers, which upsets many adults who have to wait 30 minutes to
get on.  I've been ready to pull my hair out lately trying to please
everyone.
