I was in Seattle last week, participating in a Train-the-Trainer for Library Services to the Spanish Speaking, which CTLS and TSLAC will be offering this spring. While I was there, a participant (can't remember who) mentioned that their library provides both notary services and helps new immigrants fill out applications for obtaining legal status. The interesting thing is that they CHARGE for both of these services and bring in enough money to substantially increase their collection development budget! If so, would you please provide pros and cons? Also, if your library once provided this service but does not do so now, would you please advise what caused you to stop? Thank you. Peg Fleet
