Dr. Betty Jane McConnell, former director of the Salado Public Library and wife of the founder, Dr. Bob McConnell, passed away this week.
Her funeral service will be at 2 pm Saturday at Christ Episcopal Church in Temple. She is survived by her husband, children, and grandchildren, and many friends.
