Lago Vista Library allows 1 day grace on all overdue items. After that, we charge 25 cents per day with a $5 maximum on each item. We charge the same fine on all materials. We also forgive fines for certain situations as long as the patron does not make a habit of abusing the privilege.

Is it different for adults and children? Does it vary by format? Is there a maximum, and if so, what is it? Does that vary by format and age of patron? Please respond to the list. One of our newer librarians would like to know. Thanks.
