Lago Vista Library allows 1 day grace on all overdue items. After that, we
charge 25 cents per day with a $5 maximum on each item. We charge the same
fine on all materials. We also forgive fines for certain situations as long
as the patron does not make a habit of abusing the privilege.

Subject: [ctls-l] Overdue charges

What is your library charging for overdues these days?

Is it different for adults and children?

Does it vary by format?

Is there a maximum, and if so, what is it? Does that vary by format and age
of patron?

Please respond to the list. One of our newer librarians would like to know.

Thanks.

Laurie
