Dr. Janine Golden, Assistant Professor in the School of Library and
Information Studies at Texas Woman's University, will present a three-part
workshop on mentoring. In order to embrace mentoring as a career development
strategy, participants will explore the concept of mentoring and practice
goal setting; learn some myths and fallacies of mentoring; and comprehend
the critical skills and best practices necessary to help ensure a successful
mentoring relationship.

Room is available for any *pair* of folks already in a mentoring
relationship or about to form one.
