We were part of this program in our earlier years and it did provide quite a
few nice books on more modern artists. It is a great program.

Subject: FW: Reminder: 2008-09 DUC catalogue of art books!

I think I first found out about this program from the CTLS listserv,

however, there might be more that need reminding that this free resource

is available to rural or inner-city libraries--free art books! (See the

reminder e-mail below, which we got because we've ordered their free

materials last year.)

Subject: Reminder: 2008-09 DUC catalogue of art books!

Dear Teachers and Librarians,

We wanted to remind you that our 2008-09 catalogue of brand new art

books is now online and available for browsing from the home page of our

website: www.ducprogram.org, If you have not yet placed an order with

us, we hope you will do so. If you have questions or need assistance,

please feel free to contact us-we are here to help! You may email us at

mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] or call us at (212) 255-2919.

For those who have already placed an order, you will be receiving your

shipment of books in the next few weeks-we are busy processing and

packing your requests at this very moment.

PLEASE NOTE: participants are limited to ONE order per program year (we

consider our June launch as the beginning of the new year). Although we

place no restrictions on the number of titles you may order, we ask that

you request only what you need. There is a huge demand for our

resources, and we want to make certain we serve as many schools and

libraries as possible. Due to the large volume of orders we receive, it

may take up to three months to process and ship the books you request.

One final reminder: the mission of the DUC Program is to distribute art

books to rural and inner-city public schools and libraries-therefore, we

are unable to fill orders from private institutions.

We hope you enjoy the books!
