Libraries always been the answer place, but with all the Web 2.0
technologies out there now, do you sometimes feel like your patrons are
passing you by? You can use the 23 things program to brush up on your
Web 2.0 skills as well as learn how libraries are using these skills to
reach out and engage patrons. So please join us in this life-long
learning adventure! - CTLS

Hope you guys are enjoying CTLS's 23 Things program so far. Again,

& add your first posts.
4. Learn about avatars
<http://ctls23things.wordpress.com/2008/10/30/4-avatars-identity-and-pri
vacy> and how you can add one to your blog.

We encourage all of you to follow along with us during this 10-week
program (9 weeks of things, and one week for wiggle room). If you're
busy this week, don't worry! You can always start at a later date and
catch up at any time before January 23, 2009.

If you complete the program by January 23, 2009, you'll earn 12 hours of
CE credit, and if you're staff at a CTLS member library, you'll also
receive a free mp3 player or a $25 gift certificate (your choice) care
of Friends of CTLS and the Tocker Foundation.

Please forward this to any of your colleagues to see if they're
interested in participating, too.

If you have any questions, I'm here to answer them. Happy Thanksgiving!

Thanks,
Kam
