We do not charge for reserving. The cost of failing to pick them up is the inconvenience of us returning them to circulation if they have been notified (by phone) but fail to get them after a reasonable time. The "reasonableness" of the time depends on how much the book is in demand. ILL books we still charge postage if they never came to get it. --Judy Judith M.
