We do not charge for reserving. The cost of failing to pick them up is the
inconvenience of us returning them to circulation if they have been notified
(by phone) but fail to get them after a reasonable time. The "reasonableness"
of the time depends on how much the book is in demand.
ILL books we still charge postage if they never came to get it.

Subject: [ctls-l] charging fees for holds

Do you charge for reserving books, or for not picking them up?
If so, how much do you charge per item?
Inquiring minds want to know.
Thanks.
Laurie
