For the second year, the Central Texas Library System will be presenting awards at its Winter Membership meeting.
Four awards will be given this fiscal year:
Friends Project of the Year
Youth Volunteer of the Year
Library Board Member of the Year
Librarian of the Year (new this time)
Nominations will be taken from now until January 5, 2010.
An Awards Committee is needed to choose the winners. So far, two people
have volunteered to serve: Debbie Bronson, Lay Rep, of Pflugerville and
Lisa Metzer, staff member at Wells Branch.
If you are interested in serving, please contact me. Committee members
will review the applications and select the best ones in each category.
Meetings can be conducted by telephone conference. One of the committee
members will present the awards at the Winter Membership Meeting, to be
held in Salado.
