Join the free monthly webinar of the National Network of Libraries of
Medicine, South Central Region (NN/LM SCR).  The next meeting is
Wednesday, November 18, 2009 from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.(CT) and the topic
will be The Boomers are Coming: Prepare for the New Age of Seniors. The
first of the Baby Boomers will reach 65 in 2011 and by 2030 the number
of Americans over 65 is expected to double.  Learn about some cognition
and vision issues that happen as we and our patrons age, some specific
information about the Boomer generation, and what your library can do to
prepare to help with their health information needs.  The presenter will
be Karen Vargas, NN/LM SCR Consumer Health Outreach Coordinator.

 

All web conferences are conducted via the Adobe Connect web meeting
system. No software installation is needed--to join the conference
simply click on the URL: https://webmeeting.nih.gov/scr/, chose "Enter
as a Guest", and type in your name. Once you enter the online meeting
room, follow the instructions on the screen to have the system call you
