Same at Wells Branch. We have them everywhere with patron controls on the walls
and they do save on the power bills. Ours have regional switches in the staff
work room so are turned off daily by staff as they do the lights--takes about
20 seconds!@

Hi Carolyn,

We've got fans all over both libraries! They are delightful and we're convinced
people are more comfortable at higher temperatures with them on- how could that
not save money? However, we do have a main switch at the Circulation desk so we
can turn them all off at night without having to check each one.

Cheers,
Lisa

In the Board's quest to save money, it was suggested to look into ceiling fans
for the library. Do any of your libraries have fans? If so, do you think it
has saved you money? I don't remember ever seeing fans in a library, but I
needed to check. Thanks for any input you can give me.
