We have ceiling fans in our main reading room. I don't know if they
have helped save on our electric bill, except maybe having delayed us
turning on the air conditioner for a couple of weeks. They certainly
add an aesthetic quality to our library-a historic building originally
built in 1912 for use as a post office.

Subject: [ctls-l] ceinling fans?

In the Board's quest to save money, it was suggested to look into
ceiling fans for the library. Do any of your libraries have fans? If
so, do you think it has saved you money? I don't remember ever seeing
fans in a library, but I needed to check. Thanks for any input you can
give me.
