We have 5 weekly performers during our SRC that are paid through grants, our
Friends group, and some funds from local support. It is a great way to get the
kids in to enjoy a show and hopefully make their way back to the library for
books, etc. One thing that we have been able to do on occasion is book a
performer on the same day or adjacent day as a nearby library and the performer
will give both libraries a discount.
Good luck!

Subject: [ctls-l] Summer Reading

How many Libraries have paid performers for the Summer Reading Program? I have
a hard time getting permission to have paid performers, and I am looking for
information to convince some people that it is a good idea.
