Preliminary reports say that every passenger on board was part of a large vacation
charter group from Germany, who were going to
board a cruise ship in NY harbor and go on to a cruise of the Caribbean...Havana was
mentioned as one of the scheduled ports of
call...
What I've noticed so far is how controlled the video images coming out from the scene
are...especially when compared to something
like the Princess Di car crash, where we were inundated with all sorts of videos and
images as paparrazzi swarmed over the
scene...for some reason the French authorities seem to be putting tight reigns on the
press regarding this crash.
