I can agree with you about people being intellectually lazy and thus rely on
others.
I still suggest ignorance to a degree ...because they don't truly know what
goes on behind the scenes.
Do most people realize that when they step into a casino, literally
everything from
the colors, lighting, smells and so on is designed to hopefully cause you to
gamble
your money away? Do most people realize when they step into a grocery store
the
colors, lighting, smells, and the location of the basics (bread and milk at
the furtherest
point from the front door) is designed in a effort to minipulate you into
buying more,more
more?
Two Sundays ago they had a piece on 60 minutes on the pollsters...how they
used focus groups to play remarks and measure reaction by having the folks
adjust a little meter if they like words and phrases, or if they don't like
words
and phrases. Thus why Clinton and cronies keep harping on "private" or
"private life" because when those words were mentioned in the focus groups
the measurements went into the positive scale.
Probably less then 20 focus groups, or less then 500 people are the ones
that are defining the debate, and the words that are used while the gulliable
general public wander around like a herd of sheep.
Speaking of polls, I found another one liner
Eat Sheep!! 50,000 Coyotes can't be wrong.

Robert
