Furthermore, Investigative Group has never conducted an investigation of Speaker[-elect] Livingston nor were we asked to do so.� One of the reasons the story won�t die is that Flynt himself has refused to deny it. When Flynt appeared on MSNBC recently, �News Chat� host John Gibson asked the pornographer the identity of the private investigators digging up the dirt on Republicans. �Can you tell me it is not Terry Lenzner, the PI firm that has done the investigation for the White House and the president�s defense team?� Gibson asked. Flynt has promised his informants $1 million for their evidence of adultery in the Congressional ranks, but his daughter told a source that her father �won�t have to pay a cent� because �all of his information is coming from the White House.� The White House, however, issued a statement Dec. 22 attacking Flynt�s investigation: Said White House press secretary Joe Lockhart, �The president despises the politics of personal destruction that Larry Flynt and others practice.� * * * * *
