Most women using birth control of their own choice? So much the worse. These
women know deep down they're violating their nature, just as the men who use
it, or "take advantage" of the women using it, know they are being
irresponsible thugs, and violating their own nature too. I'll stand by my
statements. (PS - I'm referring to women who used to used birth control and
have written or contributed to books about their awakening as to what they
were doing. I'll try to give some specific names of books on this, but at
the moment the ones I've seen escape me. Couple to Couple League in
Cincinnati, Ohio or Human Life International or American Life League should
have these books for sale however, which will also detail the health
problems. I remember working for Bethesda North hospital when it first
opened in 1967 or 68 --- I was between freshman and sophmore year and was
working as the Emergency Room clerk for the 3rd shift. The hospital was new
and the emergency room was almost eventless every night. The nurse was a
former Playboy Bunny (about 28 or so at that time) who attracted plenty of
orderlies and policemen throughout the summer who all liked to come around
the drink coffee and talk. But many nights I would notice her taking her
blood pressure off and on and some night seeming quietly agitated. One night
I asked her if everything was OK. She said she had to keep a close monitor
because of her birth control pills she was taking. Anecdotal? Yes. But the
research backs it up. Many women have died of strokes while on birth
prevention pills. Of course, the media doesn't exactly emphasize (or even
