TOMORROW SNORES ABOUT TODAY
===========================

(CNNS, 02/08/99) -- Tomorrow is snoring about today.

Congress critters from both parties invoke the mighty History god
when they talk on and on at the very funny Clinton impeachment
trial. They talk as if anyone in the "future" will bother with
what they say. No one in the "present" bothers with what they
say; no one (except "conspiracy theorists") reads history; so the
Congress critters are really deluded.

("Present" and "future" in quotes due to P.D. Ouspensky's doubts
about those concepts. See for example his book, "Tertium
Organum.")

I am going to "let my hair down" in this report. I do so since
I've reached the point where I myself have stopped caring.

Comfortable burghers, wise and knowing, stayed silent during the
unprecedented explosion of Truth in the 1990s. Their garnering
nature told them, "Be cautious." They chose to play it safe.

I chose to take a chance. The comfortable burghers must by now
be saying, "Ah, you see: best to play it safe." But I knew full
well what I was getting into when I began. I knew there was
danger. But honestly, I'm now 46 years old and my best times are
behind me. What can they do to me? And the strategy of the
comfortable burghers is not going to work for them either, in the
end. Yes, I may be black-listed, harassed, and imprisoned. But
I already knew that when I first began, back in 1993.

Remember that, comfortable burghers: I already knew what I was
getting into.

I am likely to cease publication in the next few months. It's
hard to convey to "squares" (a beatnik term) the concept that I
am comfortable with whatever happens to me. Their comfort comes
from a thatched roof, a glowing fire, and food on the table.
They cannot conceive of the comfort which comes from knowing that
you did right, even if you end up paying for that.

I have received an omen, through the "chance" encounter with a
poem by Janine Pommy Vega (herself a beatnik.) I will not
profane the poem by putting it before the eyes of Squares. The
omen is favorable, but it tells me it's getting time to move on.

Every way I knew how, I tried to dint through the minds of
Squares. Even though Ouspensky had inherently warned it couldn't
be done, it had to be attempted, for the sake of whatever honor I
possess.

Conspiracy Nation is not going away tomorrow, or the day after
tomorrow. But it is going away.

In the meantime, there will still be reports. But one day, the
reports will stop.
