It is claimed in a publication in Germany that the grandfather and the father of Prince Ernst August of Hanover, the new husband of Princess Caroline of Monaco were members of the SS (and Nazis?), and seized the assets of concentration camp inmates to pay for the family castle, into which Caroline just moved. I have not seen this assertion published in the United States, but it might have been.
