After reading the address by Charleton Heston, I thought I would pass this on. One of my favorite quotes of Henry David Thoreau was when he was as they say, put in the slammer, and Ralph Waldo Emerson visited him....saying "Henry, what are you doing in there...", to which Henry replied "It is not what I am doing in here, it is what are you doing out there..." At Ft. McHenry the tactics used by the Union Army can only be compred to what may be happening today. If there are concentration camps being built, with razar sharp wire, perhapsit would do well to consider that the Union Yankees put the grandson of Francis Scott Key in the slammer also. Our family was always proud of our Mother State, Maryland; and it is my hope that citizens of the United Sates wake up to this and demand an investigationl Also, I still want to know why the bodies of the Calvert family are being desecrated by the US Government.
