Even advocates of fluoridated water for dental benefit say it only helps
children. Why put this toxin in the water of all people? Fluoride and
chlorine both block the absorption of iodine, which is one reason why so many
have thyroid problems.
This is why some health experts advocate the drinking of only distilled
water. It's also recommended that trace minerals be added to distilled water,
as otherwise, the water can leech minerals out of the body.
I've read that ALCOA aluminum developed the "hard-sell" of fluoride
because it was a byproduct of their aluminum manufacturing, it was highly
toxic, and they had to pay big bucks to dispose of it safely. So, they found
a way to sell it instead. They pushed the dental benefits aspect and made a
fortune.
