What the truth was before the Orwellian media made the "truth" something else: (1) "Under international rules, asylum seekers are registered as citizens of the sovereign state from which they come, so Kosovo's Albanians are included with people from other parts of Yugoslavia (Serbia and Montenegro) as YUGOSLAV citizens. " Oh, so the PROVINCE of Kosovo is INSIDE Yugoslavia -- except in the eyes of the NWO boys in NATO/EU, re-drawing the map for their OWN convenience, to establish NEW definitions of borders that better serve their own purposes in the mass media? Sorta like, "The small Republic of Texas faces aggression from genocidal armies under the control of a power-hungry dictator in the District of Columbia!" (2) "The end of last year saw the unravelling of a ceasefire between Yugoslav security forces and guerrillas of the pro-independence Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA) ..." Oh, so WITHIN the sovereign state of Yugoslavia, there had been a CIVIL WAR going on between NATIONAL security forces and Albanian REVOLUTIONARIES? And that conflict, along ethnic lines, forced everyone else to take sides likewise. (3) "Diplomats said that in the last year, some 30,000 ethnic SERBS, targeted by the KLA, had ALSO become refugees, seeking asylum in other parts of Serbia ..." Another, *suppressed* side to the "flood of refugees" story as spun by the media. Albanians driving Serbs out of Kosovo, which is just a province INSIDE Yugoslavia. If the Serbs do it, it's called "ethnic cleansing." If the Albanians do it, it's "liberation." If the international finance-controlled media like you, you're a "freedom fighter." If they don't, you're a "terrorist." Follow the money. Follow who's in charge in the new EU. The word is DEVOLUTION. The alchemical phrase is "Solve et Coagula" (RE-divide and then RE-unite, differently). Isolate, atomize -- then manufacture NEW loyalties. The EU, after "federating" those Western sovereign states who've CONSENTED (or at least whose ELITES consented) to the new blueprint, moves on to neighboring not- so-Westernized (once hardline Communist) sovereign states who WON'T consent. Everyone MUST play or there's no game. Can't stand in the way of the Grand Plan. Tricky task for the NWO boys to UNILATERALLY RE-draw the map of Europe's geographical boundaries, whether those still defined by the OLD map like it or not ... UN says one fifth of Kosovo population displaced By Robert Evans GENEVA, MARCH 19 (Reuters) - Over one fifth of the people of the strife-torn Serbian province of Kosovo have been driven from their homes in the violence of the past year, the United Nations refugee agency UNHCR said on Friday. ``We estimate that overall 22 percent of Kosovo's pre-conflict population, around two million, has been displaced -- 443,000 people,'' spokeswoman Judith Kumin told a news briefing. And over the past week, she added, thousands more civilians fled villages and towns as the Yugoslav army brought new troops into the provinces and shelled populations centres in various areas of the province. Although the UNHCR welcomed the signing in Paris on Thursday of an interim peace accord by leaders of ethnic Albanians from Kosovo, in the absence of agreement by both sides ``the spiral of violence, fear and displacement goes on,'' she said. Representatives of Serbia at the talks have refused to sign the deal. Since a ceasefire between Yugoslav security forces and guerrillas of the pro-independence Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA) unravelled at the end of last year, 100,000 people had been displaced by the fighting. Of these, 60,000 had been driven from their homes since the end of the first round of peace talks at Rambouillet near Paris at the end of February. Kumin said it was difficult to give precise figures for the homeless because of a continuing cycle of flight, return and renewed flight as fighting surged back and forth across Kosovo. ``But we estimate the number of those displaced within Kosovo now at 240,000,'' she said. Kosovo Albanians also continued to arrive in other European countries seeking asylum. During the whole of last year, the UNHCR had recorded a total of 98,400 asylum requests lodged in 25 states of the continent by people from the rump Yugoslavia. Almost all of these were Kosovars -- Albanians from Kosovo, Kumin added. Under international rules, all asylum seekers are registered simply as citizens of the state from which they come, so Kosovo Albanians are included with people from other parts of Yugoslavia -- Serbia and Montenegro -- as Yugoslav citizens. For 17 countries from which figures were available, a further 14,500 had applied for asylum in the first two months of this year -- again overwhelmingly ethnic Albanians. Kumin said that apart from the 240,000 displaced in Kosovo itself, 25,000 had fled to Montenegro -- whose government has distanced itself from the policies of Serbia with which it is linked in the Yugoslav federation. Some 30,000 -- who diplomats said were likely to be ethnic Serbs targeted by the KLA -- had sought refuge in other parts of Serbia. Macedonia was sheltering 9,800 refugees from Kosovo, Bosnia 10,000, Albania 18,500, and other European countries 100,000. In a report on Thursday, the Geneva-based International Organisation of Migration (IOM) said that apart from legal asylum seekers, last year had seen a major surge in Kosovo Albanians trying to enter European countries illegally.
