The kidnappers named her "Augustine" (any significance?) and she and her families are Mormons (kidnappers were excommunicated). Is there any Mormon-Masonic issue here (like why didn't the FBI and cops figure it out?) Is it part of the child abduction business to transform the group mind but this is one where the tension and fear is released by a happy reunion? There was talk of her being "brainwashed" and behaving in a trance-like state and repeating verses. Regards, R.L., Ottawa, Canada Hoffman Replies: I'm not sure of the specific reference point with regard to a "Mormon- Masonic issue" in the Smart case. Mormon founder Joseph Smith was killed by a masonic mob at Nauvoo, Illinois in spite of Smith having raised his arms in the masonic signal of distress and having hailed the distress call ("Will no one help the widow's son?!). Traditional Mormons did not forget that episode and in 1978 I met with a Mormon historian who gave me access to materials on the Mormon-Mason fissure. But it "appears" likely that the modern Mormon hierarchy may perhaps have made their peace with the Lodge. I could go on at length about the Elizabeth Smart case, here are just a few tidbits: Yes, the case stinks to high heaven. The grizzled homeless couple were able to roam across America at will, in public, with their victim in tow --the media are terming this "hiding in plain sight" -- and then were summoned on cue when the scripters called them in. The case is loaded with symbolism, especially the Veiled Female, which is recognized by the modern western mind as a Muslim image, but among non-Muslim occult initiates it is the emblem of Isis. This veiled figure plays an important role in masonic pageants and parades, particulary one that used to be held annually in St. Louis, Missouri. To "lift the veil of Isis" is to uncover a great secret. Then there is that "Stockholm Syndrome" angle. Elizabeth Smart's identification with her kidnappers is an echo of the identification of the American people with their kidnappers (Wolfowitz, Perle and co.). The American populace has been "abducted" just as surely as Elizabeth Smart, who was allowed to live, unlike the other two girls kidnapped last summer. Was there something lacking in her upbringing that led her to more or less cooperate with Wanda the Witch and "Emmanuel"? The Manson girls gladly escaped their wretched American families for Charlie. It may not be so simple, however. A survey of the literature pertaining to captivity stories of white children kidnapped by American Indians shows greater resistance than Patty Hearst or Elizabeth Smart displayed, true, but even in colonial-America some Christian children did identify with their wild, "heathen" abductors. There is a universal magnetic lure of the wild over the domestic in all children which is not necessarily an indicator of a troubled or inadequate home life. The Darling children did not leave home because they had cruel or wicked parents, but because Peter Pan beckoned with the irresistible childish lure of adventure among the exotic. The psychology of kidnapping (or kid-"nabbing" as it was originally termed), has definite roots in the occluded history of the enslavement of white children by their fellow whites. The larger question becomes one of discerning to what degree Smart's parents and American society in the 21st century are responsible for the condition of the degraded couple who abducted her. Another question: is this homeless couple truly more degraded than the average American who is well-groomed and lives in a nice home, dutifully participates in the rat-race and salutes George Bush? It appears that to some degree little Elizabeth cooperated with her kidnappers and we know for a fact that America itself has been abducted by Zionists (mainly through bribery and threat of assassination) and that many Americans have cooperated with this abduction process. Was Elizabeth bribed also in some way? Was she also threatened with "assassination"? Was she cognizant of the fate of the two other girls kidnapped last year? Was the threat to her direct, or vague and implied, as it is among Americans who know that if they ask too many questions about the Israeli hold over the Bush regime that "they could be next"? The distinguished espionage insider and spy novelist John le Carre has said, apropos of the war on Iraq and 9/11, that the American people are being kept in a state of perpetual neurosis. I would notch that up to one level of magnitude -- perpetual psychosis. To track this phenomenon would make for an interesting timeline: starting with the 911 emergency call to the unconscious on Sept. 11, 1; the anthrax scare of Halloween, 2001, the disembodied, phantom "bin Laden audio-tapes"; the yellow, orange and red color- coded alchemical "Terror alerts"; the D.C. Sniper terror of Halloween 2002, then more Terror alerts, more ghostly bin Laden tapes, the constant anxiety over a proposed invasion of Iraq as displayed by the jittery ups and downs of Wall Street and prices at the gas pump; the Prozac Press Conference which Bush conducted under a pound of pancake makeup while Ari Fleischer sat in front giving the dopey Prez his hypnotic cues; and now the finale to the Smart child abduction. People exposed to a constant adrenaline rush only want to go to sleep in a fetal position for a long, long time. That will be coming too. Once the Cryptocracy accomplishes its current bloody mission, there will be a relaxation of anxiety between the conquest of Iraq and the next war (on Iran). In that interim, the American people will fall fast asleep and the revelations of the Bush regime's criminality and corruption (the Saddam in Rumsfeld's closet, Bush's business partnership with bin Laden's brother Salim), will flow heavier than ever. They are trickling even now: Seymour Hersh in "New Yorker" magazine has fingered Richard Perle as a war profiteer who blackmailed the Saudis for cash; and Congressman James P. Moran Jr. (Dem.-Virginia) announced that powerful and influential Zionist leaders are manipulating Bush and leading America to war. In the midst of all the revelation and craziness, a horror movie debuts this weekend titled "Willard," starring Crispin Glover. The "eccentric" Glover is a sworn enemy of Steven Spielberg, having attacked him hammer-and-tongs in an article in the "Apocalypse Culture II" anthology. In twilight language the one word that signifies insanity above all others, is Willard.
