Christians are not obsessed with Judaism, though they watch what is happening as a result of knowing that monotheism is being attacked.  It's antisemites who are obsessed with hatred of the Jews and assume that obsession is a normal mental state. Judaism and Christianity are two separate religions whose adherents do not meld with each other nor do they blend into something called United Religion.  That's why the fundamental adherents  of these two religions are targeted by New Age believers who want to throw all belief systems into one big blender and come up with a mishmash that is supposed to be accepted by all believers.
