Barry Glendinning, the retired priest at the centre of a $7-million sexual abuse lawsuit, also changed his story about performing oral sex on the three brothers suing him and the Roman Catholic diocese of London. Asked during cross-examination if acts of fellatio, nude massage and body painting had occurred in his seminary rooms, Glendinning agreed they had. Germany Seeks Tougher Punishment for Child Porn 9/27/03 - Berlin (Reuters) - "German officials called on Saturday for tougher sentences for consumers of child pornography after police cracked a huge global child porn network involving some 26,500 Internet users in 166 countries." "In a sweep codenamed Operation Marcy and involving some 1,500 police, 502 premises were raided across Germany this week. Officers seized 745 computers, at least 35,500 CDs, 8,300 diskettes and 5,800 videos. Suspects were identified as far afield as the United States, Australia and Switzerland. Police investigate priests for alleged paedophilia in Church institution Karl Schembri 9/28/03 "The police are investigating what is alleged to be a long history of paedophilia in a Church home for boys involving at least four priests, some of whom were still in charge of children up to a few weeks ago. The cases of child abuse reported to the police go back to around 1983 and have been allegedly going on with other children up to this year, when all the priests involved were reportedly removed from having contact with children.
