--- Begin Message --- -Caveat Lector-I've been trying to compose this piece for the last couple of weeks, with one thing and another I'd been unsuccessful until now. I might have delayed it further except I thought that I needed to 'strike while it's hot'
If any of you haven't seen or heard of the Iraqi prisoner abuse pictures then you must be in solitary confinement, comatose, or just totally out of it. I could not believe the hypocrisy of Bush stating that the soldiers' behavior was un-American and not representative of how we do things. I thought, hey, what about me, I'm being tortured, harassed, and even raped nightly and noone is calling a news conference and I'm an American citizen. Why is it that this abuse is grabbing the headlines and my story stays buried at sites and posts that only other victims and their attackers see? Why has this only been going on a year or so and mine has gone on three years and counting, and others have been victimized for decades, yet noone does anything? There is n Frontline, no network news report, and certainly no apologies. So am I to believe that unlike the Iraqi prisoners I deserve what is happening to me? Why, because I'm Black, female, single, and poor, any of which would be a reason to be targeted, some contend.
Both the CIA and the FBI are complicit in my torture, harassment, and humiliation as they are in the Iraqi prisoners, and presumably they are trying to get me to do something-I haven't figured out just what yet, that will somehow benefit them and their agenda. They, with the help of their proteges, America's Secret Police and their arsenal of non-lethal weapons, have taken over my life, they go everywhere I go and attack me with their 'weapons'. Some say it's mind control, others believe it's neighborhood cleansing, but I've been followed to "The Jungle" in Los Angeles and I don't know how they expected to 'cleanse' the neighborhood there with one of the highest crime rates in the country simply by forcing my exit.
I'm without a criminal record, so I don't know how my residing there would change those stats except to make them better, yet they stalked and attacked me there as well and were complicit in my exit from there as they have been the last 7 moves I've made, these past three years. When I scream out in pain and protest these same attackers complain to the manager who is often involved and I'm warned of 'the noise' and ultimately I have to move because I 'protest too much'. They circle me, infiltrating the whole neighborhood, paying, lying, brainwashing, and training my neighbors to use the equipment and to stalk me wherever I go, I'm a prisoner without walls.
The sheer number of those following me around is astounding and I marvel at the amount of money being spent on this exercise in futility and I wonder who is paying for the time, gas, and the vehicles. Is it straight from the government coffers or are they giving tax cuts to the dealerships that loan them vehicles. I know that the illegals hired are often working for green cards and the felons for suspended sentences, but what of the unemployed and welfare recipients, are they given another government check or are they paid under the table. I often think of myself as a one woman Tennessee Valley Authority, although, there are victims across the nation, I still feel that the resources necessary to orchestrate such an undertaking for one such as myself is obscene, the expenditure exorbitant. Is the government trying to placate a population that will become increasingly surly and dispossesed as our jobs are being shipped away to other countries where instead of paying a salary of $60,000 a year, they can pay $10,000. Is this how our government intends on filling the void, by having us hunt each other down and torturing one another?
Is this The New World Order, or is it The Master Plan, I certainly see parallels between the two, but NWO is supposed to be for the good of society. How can that be if only the wealthy are reaping the rewards of such a society of have and have nots? At the rate that higher wage jobs are being shipped from this country the middle class will be only a concept in a few years. I've read that different Federal Agencies anti-up to provide the funding, syphoning from different programs that are meant to enhance our quality of life, and recently I was told that big business was also complicit, secretly contributing to the pot. So we will go from a productive society to a welfare state because huge corporations will swallow up everything and will ship most of the jobs out of the country while still enjoying huge tax cuts and incentives, reaping greater and greater profit, amassing huge fortunes.
The disenfranchised want rise up and rebel against this fascist state because by then The Secret Police will have infiltrated every segment of our lives, monitoring, surveillance, harassment, and incarceration without due process will be commonplace, and/or we will be implanted with microchips. Our every waking moment will be recorded and reviewed via satellite by this police force who would stifle any protest or civil disobedience with the push of a button that will trigger a shocking mechanism that is implanted at the base of the skull rendering the person immobile for several seconds. This may sound like sci-fi, but much of this is already happening and will get worse.
Imagine my demeanor when I read this article regarding the Conservatives efforts to include this illegally deputized band of rogues to Patriot Act II:

It's no fluke, coincidence, nor aberration that the same departments of the government responsible for the sadistic behavior in Iraq are also responsible for the torture, harassment, and humiliation of thousands of Americans in this country. You can imagine what acts are being done that are not photographed by overzealous soldiers whose behavior was being reinforced by their superiors who didn't halt the activities but spurred them on. Just as most victims across the world don't have cameras handy to photograph atrocities being done to them by this government, American victims don't have the technology or the huge resources required to 'prove' without a doubt that these non-lethal weapons are being used against us. All the burns over my body hasn't convinced my 'County' doctor that I'm being tortured, everything is attributed to something else, because we're brainwashed to believe that our government is above the torture of its own people. Perhaps, with the disclosure of these pictures enlightenment will dawn, afterall, we're all human, and if they could do this to any other, then noone is safe.
No, it's not because the torture and the humiliation of those soldiers was un-American that our leadership is apologizing, what is un-American is the soldiers in-ability to be discreet and cover-up what they've done.
