Ugh, here we go blaming computer games again. Computer games are not the
work of the devil, they do not cause children to go on shooting sprees (trust
me, I'm one of them), and lastly, we do have minds of our own. Games have
been violent since the 8-bit Nintendo was released, with Mario. To finish
the game, you must defeat Bowser in physical combat, which is "violence".
Computer games are "violent" because "violence" sells. It's a sad thought,
but how many copies do you think "Barbie's Fashion Show" sold? It was a
great game, no violence, but then again, no one liked it. Computer games can
be good for us actually, they give us a nonliving object to take out our
aggression on, and we're not destroying anything either, as opposed to
hitting a wall or kicking something.
My 3 cents...
