IIRC, the NATO logo is a stylized compass, not a "cross"...certainly *not* an
"Iron Cross"! BUT the pentagonal table layout was decidedly weird...it sent
chills up my spine when I saw it. Sure, it might have had to do with space
limitations...but surely a circle would have done the job as well as a
pentagon?? (Or is that a...pentagram? Nah...)
