Ah, I see Dr. Weeks has joined us. Dr. Weeks has a long history on SNET, a list I
frequented for many years until the Nazis and folks like Dr. Weeks arrived. SNET and
IUFO were originally started by a woman--the incomparable Glenda Stocks--and were,
for quite a few years, a wonderful source of conspiracy and other "offbeat" info. Then,
some months after Glenda moved on to other things, the Nazis came. (Remember
them? They've been here, too.) In the interests of "free speech," they were allowed to
stay. And folks like Dr. Weeks....who came to dominate the list and convinced me
that those lists were no longer really healthy or viable.
Warning: Dr. Weeks does NOT like women....especially women with opinions. And if
he doesn't agree with you, he will label you a "feminNazi." I notice he has already
called Colleen "mommy,"--implying that her education, military background, and work
experience do not entitle her to her opinions. (Dr. Weeks has no experience with the
modern Mommy--who may be a surgeon, a jet pilot, a publisher, a computer
programmer, or a banker--apart from her homemaking role. Dr. Weeks is a 19th
century man.)
Now just what does it "mean" that Dr. Weeks has brought his macho "expertise" to
CTRL....I hope it does not bode ill for the list. Needless to say, I am not too happy
to
see him here. Keep an eye on him.
