In science, every tired old paradigm was once a radical new paradigm -
and scientists advance not by kissing old orthodox ass, but by coming
up with SOLID evidence for NEW ass-kicking insights. In the US, the
"recalcitrant Archelogical/Anthropological community" has undergone
about a dozen major, tectonic paradigm shifts this century - it's
hardly static. But before any orthodoxy gets twisted, there has to
be sufficient strong evidence - not just dribs and drabs, not just
scattered fragments in different contexts, but something consistent
that withstands critical scrutiny. Conspiratorialists & UFOlogists
especially have a hard time dealing with these standards, as do
attorneys and screenwriters. Meditate on the old Jewish saying:

  "For instance" is not proof.
