That depends on how stupid polticios and the public both actually
are, and how stupid each thinks the other is. Remember, 'freedom'
includes the freedom to be an idiot; to maximize a tax on stupidity,
gov't should actively ENCOURAGE idiocy, like maybe by subsidizing
astrologers. Hey, there's a point of attack: the stupidity tax
would apply to all products of the paranormal, NewAge, religion,
gambling and videogame industries. Don't just tax dumb behavior,
impose a levee on products and services that only a moron would
buy. Most everything on QVC, for instance. And UFOlogy...
